Download Twitch: Live Game Streaming and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Experience the games you love like never before! Watch live streams and chat with devoted gamers around the world. Players can stream gameplay from video game consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, Microsoft's Xbox One, and Sony's PlayStation 4 in addition to traditional computers and even smartphones. Given the technological limitations of mobile devices, broadcasting a quality gaming stream to Twitch from a smartphone is a little more complicated than doing the same from a console or PC.
When I first got my iMac I downloaded twitch which worked fine. I was able to download my addons with no problem. I recently logged in to twitch to download more addons but when I go to addons and click install nothing happens. I went to Mods in twitch but I don't see the world of warcraft legion picture. It use to be there but it has just disappeared. I went into settings tried adding the world of warcraft folder but nothing happens. I even clicked the scan button in the addon section of settings and it said they did not find any addon supported games on my computer.
In game I can see the addons I already have and they work fine. I just have more addons I wanna download but I can't. Can someone please help.
Toxsinns, the same happened to me after Twitch's latest update that was to fix the missing World of Warcraft tile. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the twitch app according to twitch support's online help center.
I can see the list of add ons available in twitch app - the Install button is present but inoperable. The page that should show installed apps is blank yet tells me it knows exactly where my World of Warcraft is installed. I'm hoping this is an error on Twitch's side as all of my add on's are still installed and still work. This is first recent post I've found on the matter.
All older ones found via a google search mention an error in language settings. Long shot but checked it.
Will post again if any new developments. Good luck to you. Sorry for a long post to say 'me too' but it's very frustrating. 09:27 PMPosted by I can see the list of add ons available in twitch app - the Install button is present but inoperable. Just open the /Interface/AddOns folder inside your main WoW folder. If the addons are there, they're still functional. Of course it's easy to see them. But do they need an update? The twitch app features missed in its broken state are: Available updates are not clearly displayed in one location.
Available updates cannot be installed via the twitch app. Each add-on needs to be checked individually.
Each available needs to be manually installed. The convenience of the twitch add-on manager is not available. So the problem isn't a Mac problem. It is not a WoW problem. It is a problem with the Twitch app. There is limited help at Twitch's support site on the issue. I'm sorry someone else is having the problem but I find it a little reassuring that another Mac user is having the same issue in the same time frame.
I hope that means a fix is forthcoming. Meanwhile, a ticket at the twitch site will hopefully yield results. 04:50 AMPosted by Hi guys - I work for Twitch’s Desktop App support team (was directed here from a subreddit thread) and I just wanted to let you know that we are aware of the issue and working quickly to get it fixed. Everything should hopefully be back to normal by the end of the week (or sooner™). Thanks so much for your patience and understanding and I’m really sorry that you’ve had to deal with this.
Mowseler, would you like my twitch app logs and the text from the dev tools console, or have you already replicated the problem yourselves and no longer need another set of logs for input? Also, does Jax still do support for the app or did he go away after the Curse Twitch changeover? Edit: Today's update appears to have rectified the issue. Addons are back.
Todays update seems to have a new regression from my testing. It doesn't actually show new updates unless you restart app. It successfully checks for addon updates on launch. But hitting refresh manually or during it's automatic checks, it'll never find any updates. There could be 10 addon updates and it won't show any if it didn't detect them at launch. In other words, I'm having to restart app every time i want to check for updates now. This didn't start until most recent update.
Curious if anyone else is seeing same thing.
